Siamese cats have an opinion of the most intelligent pet cats, but at the same time they are very demanding. They have a strong, decisive character and dominant disposition, which means, that not everyone is able to take care of them. They need consistent treatment and a lot of attention, but they can repay for all affection like no other animals can. Their attachment to the beloved person is proverbial- the abandoned Siamese can starve till death because of longing.
The intelligence of Siamese cats is surprisingly developed. They often use abstract thinking and can realize their ideas with unshakeable consequence. They like to show off different skills, which they seem to acquire with little effort. They can retrieve small things, open the door; they can and like to be leashed.
Siamese cats are possessive, go- ahead, communicative and talkative. Their voice can be very loud. They like being in motion, playing, jumping on high trees and climbing narrow surface.
They feel great in presence of other cats. When bred alone, they integrate with the owner to this extent that they can defend them in case of danger.
